We’re so excited to share the amazing businesses, organizations, and events within the Kennett community with our Fig Magazine 2017 Summer issue.

But one of the best parts of this summer issue is the incredible food features that showcase Kennett Square’s amazing farm-to-table array. On the cover of this issue is mouthwatering Summer Roasted Vegetables that we can’t wait to try.

Discover the recipe below on how to make this incredible dish. Give it a try and create this delicious cuisine at home!

How to Create the Perfect Cover:

Choosing the Theme

At Fig, we develop a magazine concept and theme long before the time of publishing. For this summer we chose something Kennett is known for: food. We needed the perfect dish to showcase Kennett’s farm-to-table feel and the importance of eating, and shopping, local.

Creating the Mood

The Creative Director and designer meticulously create a visually-stunning display and ensure every part is looking perfect.

Snapping the Shot

It’s time to capture the perfect snapshot. The photographer uses various lighting techniques to dramatize the image and experiments with different angles.

Review Time

Real-time review and post-review gives the team a live look at the photos and provide opportunity for critique and evaluation.

Final Design

Once the final photo is selected, it goes to our design team to be placed in the issue before printing. Then the cover is finished and ready to be enjoyed!
