Chester County OIC
The Chester County OIC Certified Nurse Aide Training Program Can Be Life Changing.
In 13 weeks, a student can complete their 128-hour intensive program that teaches medical terminology, math, employability skills, and more in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Their students graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to obtain a state certification and a job in long-term care, rehabilitative or hospital settings.
Training is free to those who qualify, and jobs are plentiful after graduation.
Mission
Chester County OIC provides opportunities for individuals to prepare for sustainable employment and financial independence through education, training, and support services.
History
In 1964 working out of an abandoned jailhouse in North Philadelphia, Dr. Leon H. Sullivan founded the first OIC training center to provide employment training and retraining in impoverished communities.
