Dr. Sherif brings medical experience from around the globe to Chester County. He received his Medical Degree from Tanta University in Tanta, Egypt, and completed his Orthopaedic residency at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. After moving to the United States with his wife, a Texas native, he conducted five years of research in Orthopaedics in Southern California — two years at the Hip & Pelvis Institute at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica and three years at the LA Orthopaedic Institute at St. Vincent Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles. When mandatory COVID-19 lockdowns shut down real estate in Pennsylvania, the team began to problem-solve. They launched The Home Project, MFT Cares, and MFT Saves to help support their community’s needs in a time of crisis. But they also wanted to implement a way to make selling homes possible in a post-COVID world.

Philter 2.0 looks different, but it still feels like home. That’s because owner and “coffee guy” Chris Thompson has redesigned the well-loved space not for some strange new normal but to welcome the community, as he has from the beginning, to an attractive space with friendly staff and really good coffee and food.
We are stepping away from our computer screens and sharing a glimpse of what our current new normal looks like.
