    Fresh Face: Alexis Kletjian

“Your jewelry tells your story,” says Alexis Kletjian. She loves connecting people to beautiful pieces, whether that’s finding a good home for a curated vintage treasure or creating a custom design to celebrate an occasion or accomplishment. Every piece in her inviting and elegant new State Street gallery reflects her own journey and passion for great design.

Kletjian is gracious, intuitive, and thoughtful. Each season her permanent collections continue to evolve with one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces. Motifs including stars, snakes, shields, and skulls all carry meaning, celebrate life and love, and urge us to protect ourselves and be mindful. Her designs lend themselves to layering, because “Women wear more than one note.” Kletjian offers options at different prices and listens to customers to help them choose something that makes a statement about who they are.

Kletjian developed her eye for scale and zeal for sourcing (“there isn’t anything I can’t find!”) over years in fashion. She began designing jewelry when she couldn’t find bangles to fit her.

Since then, she’s garnered major awards and an international following of loyal collectors, including celebrity clientele. She’s also nurtured relationships with every person who helps bring her designs to life—from miners to craftsmen.

When she and her family moved from Boston a year ago, Kletjian fell in love with the small-town friendliness and history of Kennett Square. “I’m excited to open my gallery in this welcoming and vibrant community,” she says, “and I look forward to telling your stories through my fine jewelry.”
